My creative space....

It's been very busy start of the week in my creative space!

My week started with very exciting Designer spotlight interview that came out on Monday over at Madeit website!

The new Easter collection keeps me busy... I couldn't stop myself and got overwhelmed playing with new fabrics and colours. I finished the last chick last night and will have to stop for now and concentrate on rabbits and customer orders.

I also found some time to make a few handmade bias tapes....

Introducing: Plushka's Makery

My obsession with ribbons, buttons, fabric and cute stationery started a while ago. I didn't make things back then as studying took all my time but I had time for shopping! That's how my stash become overwhelmingly big and starting Plushka's Craft added to it with fabric emerging on our door step weekly. I love the process of searching and buying, looking and admiring and getting inspired by the patterns and colors of whether it's ribbon or fabric.

I felt like I want to create an online space where people can find craft supplies that inspire to create and share my passion for beautiful textiles, stationery and books and that's how Plushka's Makery was born.

Lovely Anna from Design with Style, who designed Plushka's Craft banner, created logo and banner to match and my Craftumi shop is now officially open! Please, come in for a browse and let me know what you think!

New cross-stitched items

My cross-stitched collection is slowly coming together.... I love notebook covers and made a few with the same hedgehog embroidery that I used for the keyrings. They actually make a nice set.

I used ribbon, lace and little bow bronze charm that you can find in my shop.

Hedgehog went to the forest to collect mushrooms and found a juicy green apple and I thought his little story will make a nice embroidery;)

Today, I am making a few more keyrings in different colours. That's how they look from the back. All my lovely linen scraps found their purpose and I am very happy about it!

I also found a few projects I want to make in the new Cotton Time issue. I am thinking that this top will look nice on me....

Cotton Time always inspires me and there are so many projects to try. These felt Russian dolls on the cover look are so cute! There are instructions on how to make a set of 5. A few issues of this magazine are available in my shop if you want to make them;)

My creative space....

In my creative space today, a sneak pick of my new collection that's coming soon.....

I felt like making a few cross-stitch items and start using some of the ribbon that I purchased recently. I took a rabbit pattern that I used for my gift bags and made a little hedgehog pattern to keep little rabbit company:)

I made them with jacquard ribbons instead of linen one, that would normally be my first choice, but I used it in another project that I am going to reveal tomorrow...

The grey background and absolutely charming roses make this ribbon so easy to match with any linen. I think, it looks great with Far Far Away II linens by Heather Ross. I've picked the one with roses for the back of the rabbit keyring.

Keep them organised!

My linen ribbons stash is not that big which means I treasure every meter of the ones I've got!

I recently stumbled on these organisers and immediately pictured them in my draw.

I am also planning on getting my embroidery threads organised the same way but it's a much bigger task as I've got all colours under the sun there so it will take me hours!

Sunday destash

I've got a huge stash of fabric, ribbons and other bits and bobs and I am willing to share;) I decided that I need to free some space and sell some fabrics that I've been squirreling away. Some of them out of print, some of them are hard to find but all are beautiful and carefully stored. My taste changes overtime and sometimes I buy fabric just because I like it and after a year and 4 tabs, it's time to destash. Here are a few items that are in my Craftumi shop:

I love this Dreamy fabric from Kokka but went a bit overboard ordering way too much so I included half a meter of it in my "have to go" list.

I think these cute fabrics deserve a project so please, pop by my shop and have a look:)
