Things I am loving... in the end of October

* New issue of the Country Style magazine and new buttons.

*Choc chip, raisin and coconut cookies (recipe from here). I still need to practice a bit more and get them out on time:) However, it didn't spoil the taste and just made them a bit crunchy.

*Colour green - this fabrics are allocated to the "for my home" project that is long overdue but I am determined to get it done by Christmas... I wonder if that geometrical print will go with flowery fabric in patchwork style bed runner? 

What are your loving at the moment?

Things I am loving...just before taking a break

Between orders, packing for London, making flags for a bunting swap (yes, I signed up for my first swap. More details tomorrow;), organizing everything at work, tiding up my Madeit shop before I go etc etc etc...

I am loving that there is still time in a day to take a few cute pictures of my robins from Christmas collection:

There is always time for a good book to read, especially if it is as nicely made and as creative as a book by Dottie Angel that was my first purchase from the adorable Lark shop. 

Finally, there is always time, usually late in the evening, for a little cross-stitch.

Things I am loving...the end of August

*Lovely gift from a creative friend who inspired me to organize my threads, buttons and now needles too:) 

Friend who knows I love cute toadstools and who found time to make this needle case for me. Thank you!

*My  fabric stash that inspires me to be creative.

*Making Christmas decorations in August.

*Getting a new idea in the middle of a busy day when I need to finish orders. It distract me but brings a huge amount of joy! This new toy - pink elephant named Maya, still needs a little bit more work but I am very happy with the face expression and ears:)

What are your loving at the moment?

Things I am loving....in the end of July

*Spending a creative day with a friend who encouraged me to get my embroidery threads pretty and organized! I am loving my new box that slowly gets filled up with colourful threads.

*Cross-stitching cute rabbits and chatting!

* New issue of Country Style magazine with pretty heart pillow project!

*Getting up early and going to the Pilates lessons!

Things I am loving.....TEA

I decided to join this week a lovely theme called "Things I am Loving" hosting by Paisley Jade blog. I've been visiting other blogs that join this weekly theme and it's so much fun!

Things I am loving this winter, especially on the cold and miserable day like today, is TEA! 

I love tea so much that I've got two special  wooden boxes filled with different teas: White, Green Vanilla, Earl Grey, Lemongrass, Lemon Myrtle, Chamomile.....

There are so many different tea types but did you know that most of them come from the same tea bush and the only difference is in the way they're treated?  Read more here.

There is something calming and comforting in a hot cup of tea. This might be one of the reasons why people in many cultures have there own traditional tea and the way to prepare it. It fascinates me that something so simple like a cup of tea can bring friends together, make conversation easier and create a special atmosphere....

I am off to make myself a cup of Earl Grey and get back to my creative space...
