Rain, toys and gloomy days...

It feels like I haven't blogged for ages, in reality it's been only a couple of days. It feels like forever! With 2 days of constant rain (much longer for our QLD readers!) it is very gloomy in the studio. Thus, I couldn't take any pictures and just felt like having a nap... so I took a day off and use this opportunity to spend more time with Mr. Plushkin. Although the weather is a little better today, this is the best picture I could take of my hedgehogs...

Thankfully, we are safe and dry here but so many of our friends have been affected. Our thoughts with those who are still expecting the water to rise and have been evacuated.
If you know any flood appeals besides Australian Red Cross appeal or handmade auctions, do leave the link in the comment so we can get involved and spread the word.

Stay safe lovely readers!

My creative space...

Hedgehogs are taking over my space! There were a few orders and some stock building for the last few weeks and I thought I'll round up all the hedgehogs in one post. It's so much fun to take one embroidery and use it in different creations. They all look matching but still different, don't they? I am working on more designs at the moment but this hedgehog, being one of my first embroidery designs, will always stay my favourite!

New toy from "Plushkandia, enchanted forest" collection

Felt hedgehogs

At the bottom of my garden,
Hid beneath a Holly bush,
Lives a sleepy little hedgehog,
He’s sleeping so please shush!
He’s been on an adventure,
He’s crossed the busy road,
Waddled through my garden,
And said “Hello!” to Mister.Gnome,
He sat and watched the stars,
And said “Hello!” to Mister Moon,
Mr. Moon look down on him,
And said “Mister Sun will be here soon”
All the world was sleeping,
As he waddled on his way,
Through my pretty flowers,
Where Miss Mouse he likes to play,
Mister Hedgehog’s feeling sleepy,
It’s time to rest his tired head,
It’s time to go home now,
Time to get himself to bed,
He’s had a busy evening,
Eating all those big fat slugs,
That chew on all my flowers,
But he’s sleeping now so shush!
